If an individual or a company is completing new construction or modifying existing construction with industrial size chillers, a refrigerant monitoring system or RMS must be installed. 

Many companies offer package refrigerant monitoring systems with their chillers.  These systems typically don't meet code requirements and are difficult to maintain.  Ino-Tek does not recommend any clients install an RMS system without completely understanding the code requirements.  Many times we have had to redesign, modify, or remove a relatively new refrigerant monitoring system because it was not designed properly.
